Bass Strait Islands are a group of Islands on the sea strait which separates Tasmania from the southern mainland of Australia. Around 50 islands together constitutes the Bass Strait Islands and some of the major Islands include King Island, Hunter Island, Three Hummock Island, Flinders Island, Deal Island, Hogan Island, Cape Barren Island. But the period between November to March is the best time to view and travel around the islands as the climate is most perfect during these period.

There are also road networks inside each islands, but to travel from one island to other, you have to rely either on air and sea transport system.
